Central Equity, the pioneer of modern inner city living in Melbourne, is now delivering to residents a revolutionary high tech lifestyle for the 21st Century.

Central Equity were one of the first developers in Australia to install high speed data cabling to each apartment during the construction phase so that residents are well prepared for the latest and future communication and entertainment technologies as they become available.

In recent months Central Equity has connected the first 5 apartment buildings to an advanced high speed network. Residents are enjoying the TECZ (Total Entertainment and Communication Zone) service accessed through the 'data point' in each apartment. More Central Equity buildings will be added to the network shortly.

Corporate style network. Like in an office building users can just plug into the data point with a standard network cable and be online all day, every day without the need for a phone line or modem.

Affordable. Broadband to a single residence is normally expensive but as the costs of broadband access is shared over many apartments (and there is no need to purchase a modem) TECZ offers greater value to Central Equity residents.

Designed for multiple users. Not only can several computers connect to the one data point, but residents can now surf the internet on their TV if they do not have a computer, using a wireless keyboard provided in the package. This also allows 2 people to use the internet simultaneously when there is only 1 PC in the apartment.

Prompt, friendly and customised service from the TECZ team. TECZ's highly qualified technicians can install a system that best suits your needs. For example in some apartments residents have wireless access meaning an unlimited number of laptops can be used anywhere in the apartment with no cables. Residents can even be seen on their balconies surfing the web. TECZ have also set up home offices for residents so that the network will host their own personalised domain name, web site and customised email.
